Overview
A 35,000 SF, three-story CLT addition to Imagine Children’s Museum in Everett, continuing a long-standing client relationship with a sustainable expansion.
Gaffney Construction has completed multiple projects for Imagine Children’s Museum over more than two decades, including the original buildout of a former bank building and the conversion of the parking garage into the museum’s lodge area.
This completed addition created a 35,000 SF, three-story building using CLT, or cross-laminated timber. The structure was prefabricated in Austria, Canada, and Yakima, shipped to Everett, and assembled on site as a sustainable museum expansion.
